A great way to accomplish this is to turn to DIY Christmas gifts instead of spending money on whatever the latest trends are. Not only are DIY gifts more personal for the receiver, but they allow the gift giver to share their talents, too. However, coming up with a DIY Christmas gift can be daunting. I mean, the options are seemingly endless, right?! That’s why we decided gather some fun and easy ideas to help get you inspired. Quilled paper picture frame

First, we have an elegant quilled paper picture frame from ‘BHG.’ It’s a super easy craft, but it looks like it belongs on a queen’s nightstand.

Frame tablet stand

This tablet stand would be perfect for the kitchen cook! Just this morning I tried to FaceTime while baking… not an easy feat! The project was originally from BHG as well, but since the tutorial is no longer up, we found some more ideas for you!

Hand painted cork coasters

These colorful DIY cork coasters are a quick last minute gift that can be personalized, so it doesn’t actually look last minute! All you need is some tape and letter stickers or stencils, and paint! From there, these are incredibly easy to make. However, the tutorial for these is no longer on the Martha Stewart site. But no worries, here are some more DIY coaster gift ideas!

Golden paper mache bowls

I would LOVE to get these DIY gold leaf paper mache bowls- so beautiful! These bowls by Susquehanna style are so cute and I love the white and gold combo, but you can always change it to use whatever additional colors you love!

Liz from ‘Say Yes‘ made these DIY lace cement votives that would look very ‘Anthropologie’ tucked into a cute gift box. And they’ve got a great tutorial for you to follow!

Um, I want these. These Pantone chip magnets from ‘How About Orange‘ are just the pop of color every DIY decorator needs! All you need to complete this simple project is some paint chips, glue, and magnets! They turn out shiny looking, almost like they’re ceramic, which I love!

Chocolate mixing spoons

I’ve seen similar ideas before, but I love that these use vintage spoons- what a great way to make them a little extra special! Simply head to your local thrift shop and create something unique they’ll actually use. These would make great stocking stuffers, too!

Pick their favorite color (or a color that will go with their decor) and create a trendy knot pillow they’ll love to display on their sofa. This is a fun and easy craft you can do for your own DIY decor, too!
