Blossom into Creativity: Fresh Spring Crafts for 2024

I just love spring- the budding trees, flowers in the garden, birds and butterflies showing up once again- it’s all so full of promise and joy. That makes the season one of my favorites for craft ideas. I’ve put together this list of spring crafts to share my many joys in spring, and I hope you share some of the same joy and excitement with me!

How we Picked these Spring Crafts

I love to create fun crafts, but I do have a few requirements. I applied these same requirements to the crafts I featured in this post, because I assume you, like me, don’t like the hassle of trying out a new DIY project that doesn’t turn out to be worth the time, effort, and money.

For one, I only like doing crafts that have a good tutorial or resource for how to do them- no messing around trying to figure out a new skill. These crafts are supposed to be fun, not stressful! My next requirement is that the skills needed are relatively approachable and easy to learn. Of course, I also look for budget-friendly craft ideas- bonus points if they can be made with repurposed materials you already have on hand! Lastly, they should be fun! If these requirements sound like they check all your boxes, too, you’ll want to read on. 🙂

Spring Wreaths

I think every season needs its own wreath on your door. You’ve seen our awesome fall wreath ideas, now welcome spring right at your front door with these gorgeous spring wreaths! They’re fun, floral, and the perfect craft for a spring afternoon.

Tulip Wreath

Chatfield Court’s tulip wreath welcomes spring right at your front door. I love the monochromatic look of all the pink tulips, but multiple colors would be beautiful too!

Easter Egg Garden Wreath

I love the spring garden vibes of this spring wreath made by Sophie Allport. It’s perfect for Easter too, with the subtle touch of Easter eggs included throughout the greenery.

Flower Basket Door Hanging

Opt for an easier DIY spring door decor project by swapping the wreaths for a cute basket like this example from Country Living.

Spring Floral Resin Tray

If you’ve never tried any resin crafts, be careful, you’ll want to put everything in resin! These are especially fun if you love flower gardening because you get to save your flowers forever. Check out this tutorial by Hearth and Vine for instructions- resin can be kind of tricky but so worth it!
