Small Bathroom Makeovers

We are in love with this small bathroom makeover by ‘Angela Marie Made‘. She took a dark, ugly ’80’s bathroom, and turned it into this fresh, farmhouse style design gem! She has DIY budget small bathroom ideas all over this before and after! The gorgeous vanity only cost her $65 to make, and she did the shiplap on the ceiling and walls. A little paint, new mirror, vinyl flooring they did themselves = crazy cool tiny bath!

This black & white small bathroom makeover takes an outdated space and turns it into a trendy, spa like bath… on a budget! Those aren’t expensive cement tiles, they are peel and stick. They painted the vanity and added new knobs. The brackets to the floating shelves were spray painted to match the rest of the hardware. Go check out the before and after pictures over at ‘BHG‘.

If you are looking for small bathroom ideas on a budget with a touch of an exotic, Boho flair,  look no farther than to Kathy at ‘Up To Date Interiors‘. This before and after bathroom makeover has so much personality and charm! Loving on the blue cabinets against the green wall. Bold choices are great in a small room, and the bathroom screams for a touch of glam, don’t you think?

Need really tight budget small bathroom ideas? ‘Lemons, Lavender and Laundry‘ did this awesome bathroom redo for less than $100. Yep. Go check it out!

Sammy on Statetransformed this small bathroom with budget ideas and a lot of elbow grease. This faux brick wall is super awesome, and their tutorial for it makes it super easy too. Check out how they made their bathroom vanity, and the other projects they did in this small bathroom redo.

Bathroom Before and Afters

The Crazy Craft Lady‘ did this weekend small bathroom redo for less than $200! Paint was a big player here. She also used peel and stick vinyl tiles to update the bathroom floor. Can you believe her “before”? Ton of great budget bathroom ideas here!

After

Four Generations, One Roof‘ has a tiny bathroom bath before and after that I particularly love, because it is all cosmetic. No major upgrades here, paint, fabric and a cheery design aesthetic! Jessica, I really love your use of color, and yet it’s so fresh and bright! Read through her post, she spells out all that she did, and these small bathroom ideas would be easy to replicate!

Roeshel at ‘DIY Showoff‘ has every reason to “show off”… (yea, I know, I’m sure no one ever made that comment about her blog name before…:)) This tiny bathroom before and after is crazy! Yep, a little more investment with this one, but I know you DIY’ers can take this on. Remember, you don’t have to do it all at once, you can break it up into smaller parts if necessary to fit your budget. That having been said, there is nothing like just hammering out a makeover and having a dramatic reveal. Love these small bathroom ideas, and I have dark cabinets too, so I am going to steal ideas from this project. Are you loving on these tiny bathroom makeovers yet? Us too!

Bathroom-Before-After

Old House New Tricks‘ made over this tiny bathroom, and many of these are DIY projects, including the wood countertop! OMG! Wanna hear a shocker? This is a basement bathroom!

For those of you curious about paint colors used, you might want to try the Sherwin-Wiliams Color Snap app. It allows you to click on an image and match that paint color to one they can create for you. I hope this helps!

It is very upsetting when I see photos like this and then can’t get an answer or find the color/colors that were used in the picture. Many people are inquiring about the wall color as am I but I don’t see a response. 🙁

      Hi Vickie,
Sorry that its upsetting… I wish we had the info for all the photos we post, or the time to look up and try to find the wall colors for you, but since many of them are not our photos, you would have to go to the original source which is located with the photo or at the bottom of the page. Hope this was helpful!

I just painted my bathroom cabinet black like the last photo. Never thought of that bright paint color on the walls. I guess I will be rethinking my plan to paint then plain brown cause I love the look of that new bathroom.

Hi Randi! That last photo was done by Julie at ‘Being Home’, and there is a link right above the photo to her project… she didn’t stain it, she painted it black. If you were wanting to stain your cabinet, I would suggest showing your local paint center or department a photo, and tell them you want to get a similar look. They will help you with all the materials!

Hi – if you would like a black stain, use Minwax Ebony. If you would like a really dark stain use either Minwax in Dark Walnut or in Jacobean. Often the Jacobean label looks like a light stain but it isn’t. I have used both the dark walnut and jacobean alot -flooring, furniture, and countertops -then I cover in a couple of coats of Varathan to prevent chipping -satin or gloss depending on what I want.

sorry – I forgot to say if you want a really dark “brown” stain (like a dark chocolate or cocao -then use dark walnut or jacobean – good luck!
