Doors inside our home take up a good amount of decorating real estate, and while most of us would love to upgrade our interior doors to some more fancy options, that can be really pricey. Our first project below, is from Jess at ‘Bright Green Door‘. Her faux shiplap french fold closet door makeover is incredible! The tutorial is quite detailed so anyone can follow along, and if you go look at the “before” on her site, you will be shocked at the transformation. Love!

This DIY shaker interior door makeover from ‘Jennifer Squires‘ is a simple and easy update.  Molding is the secret to this flat door makeover that gives it a modern flare and a farmhouse flavor.

From Monica at ‘East Coast Creative‘, these DIY faux barn doors replace an old, yucky (sorry Monica!) set of outdated bifold doors with a crazy cool farmhouse vibe. These look so expensive, and she spent $35 on this interior door makeover!

Loving these DIY sliding farmhouse hollow core closet doors with frosted glass. From Brain at ‘Instructables‘, this DIY interior doors idea used old windows added to the existing closet doors, so no glass cutting required.

Want to add a little old Hollywood glam to your closet doors? Use this trick (full tutorial) from ‘Popsugar‘. They used a ceiling medallion to create this closet door makeover DIY.

From Sherri at ‘Thrifty Artsy Girl‘ is this hollow core DIY door makeover. This project took ugly, wood stain flat doors and turned them into an amazing look that would be at home in a Decorator’s Showcase house! (Go check out her “before” photos, because then you will believe me!) Great directions for this easy and inexpensive upgrade.

A little more modern glam? This closet DIY door makeover from Kris at ‘Driven by Decor‘ is just that! All done with molding, this is like art! And we love those gold handles as well.

Just in case you think your interior doors are just too ugly or too awful to make over, check this out. Crystal from ‘Mobile Home Living‘ found a way to take those stereotypical cheap manufactured type doors in a mobile home and make them look amazing with wallpaper. If she can use ingenuity to make her doors look that great, what is your excuse?

Finally, our last tutorial is a DIY interior door makeover from Abby at ‘Do It Yourself Design‘. Her shaker style design looks complicated and very custom, but her tutorial makes it easy. What a change in this closet door, right?

    What a great collection! I’ve been thinking about doing something similar to Monica’s DIY faux barn doors for our bedroom closet – clearly we’re kindred spirits!
