We all love a good makeover… it’s why home and garden television exists, after all. Who doesn’t love to compare a drudgy old space with a bright shiny new one? Well, we’re no exception! When dealing with a small bedroom, a before and after makeover can seem all the more dramatic because it’s your personal space…not a public one. It’s a refection of you and your personality, (or it should be!) but it also has to take into account that your bedroom is small and lacking space for storage and display. Here are some top picks for small bedroom makeovers that we think will inspire you to stop living in that small, dark room and make a difference in your most personal living space!
This first small bedroom makeover (and it’s small! Check out that ceiling above the bed!) is from House Beautiful, and shows us a great example of taking the emphasis off the negatives in our bedroom.

These rooms are beautiful. Sadly they are not what I would consider small. We just downsized from 4300sq Ft to 888sq Ft. My new bedroom is 7 1/2×10 1/2. Our king size had to go. Our queen size barely fits. I had to hang crates on the wall for a nightstand. My husband has to crawl across to get in. So you can see why these are lavishly large. Lol
