Another project from Jenni, we love, love, love this DIY chalkboard wall! First of all, the styling in this shot is ah-mazing. Using black & white decor and wall art is an “anyone can do this” kind of project, but there are some secrets to getting it right. Take your clues from these talented bloggers, starting with this black & white gallery wall by Taryn from ‘Design, Dining and Diapers‘. This wall art is simply B&W graphic printables, which BTW, you can download for free at her site! This wall art has meaning, which is the best kind of home decor.

Another black and white room decor Pinterest find (if anyone knows the source of this photo, please email us!) is this B&W photo wall. You could do a similar wall by simply attaching photos with poster putty so they can be removed later, or make it permanent by using Mod Podge and a foam brush to make photo “wallpaper”.

Our last one from ‘The Ivory Lane‘ shows the most important tip of all when creating a gallery wall. Don’t hang the frames too far apart! That’s the number one mistake people make in hanging an art grouping. How easy would this wall be to copy?
