Creative DIY Magazine Racks

We are always looking for ways to add storage, organize our homes and reduce clutter. Let’s face it, piles of magazines are a top offender of clutter collecting in our homes! Rather than just pile them on the coffee table, how about make one of these creative DIY magazine racks to keep them stowed away neatly, yet easily accessible for that quick read. As a bonus, many of them have style quotient and add to the design elements in the room!

Our feature project, above and below, is from ‘Still Inspiration‘. These are an Ikea Grundtal kitchen rail (you know, the kind they hang the little buckets on for kitchen organizing?) and on the photo below, they added the Ikea Ribba picture ledge… genius!

‘Beyond the Picket Fence’ has a tutorial for this rolling magazine rack, that she finished to look old and repurposed, which I love. Love the industrial wheels too! Check out some of her kitchen island projects while you are there, so cool!

From ‘Posies and Plume’ this magazine rack repurposed from an old ladder is pretty self explanatory, requiring no tools at all! 🙂

Finally, ‘A Beautiful Mess’ has a similar project for this magazine rack, using electrical cord instead of stereo wire. I love how complete their tutorial is.
