DIY Wall Art for Small Rooms

Sometimes when we are decorating a small room we are tempted to keep the art we place on the wall small as well. While this seems to make sense based on the properties of scale, what it actually does is cause the eye to stop many times, thus making the room appear even smaller. Creating one large piece of wall art makes much more of an impact with a cleaner look! And of course then you get to avoid that nasty “sprinkle syndrome” where you have many unrelated things sprinkled about a room… And who wants that? 🙂 Here are some great DIY wall art ideas that will make a style splash in any room, large or small!

For the pallet wall art where did you get the pallet? Also are the letters stickers or paint?

Check with local businesses. A lot of times they give them away for free. Or check Craigslist.
The letters in this one are probably painted on. Either way works.
